A Study on the Factors of Effecting on Smoking Behavior of Middle and High School Students in City Area

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was a descriptive study clarifying the factors of effecting on smoking behavior of Middle and High school students in city area. This stuck, has been conducted from 1986 students by structured self-reporting questionnaires in 1\1 city from Dec. 10, 1999 to Feb. 20, 2000. The collected data were analyzed by using SAS PC+ program, and the data were tested using Chi-test, Pearson´,,, correlation coefficient, and SLepwise Multiple Regression.
The results were as follows;
1) The degree of cognition on smoking and drug abuse shows the serious results; cigarette(85.8%)), alcohol (77.3",)), bonds(39.2"(,),
2) There were J)OSitivC correlation among the variables; smoking and personality & identity(r=.4361), smoking and friend & school life(r=.2539), smoking and parent & family life(r.23.14), parent & family life and personality & identity(r=.4792), parent & family-life and friend & school lifer=?238), personality & identity and friend & school life(r=.4590.
3) The smoking behavior was the most predictor to personality & identity(R´=.19). In addiction to this job of mother(25o), smoke of father(263o), marital slate of parcnt(27b), friend & school life accounted for 28`) of smoking behavior of adolescents.
